The founder's operating rhythm
A founder's calendar is a strategy document. Mine is built around three blocks: deep work in the morning, decisions after lunch, and people in the late afternoon.
The most important habit is picking one metric per week — not a dashboard, one number — and letting it veto everything else. When the metric is clear, prioritization stops being a debate.
I protect two hours of uninterrupted thinking every morning. No meetings, no messages. It is the only time the company gets my best judgment instead of my fastest reaction.
Rhythm beats intensity. A sustainable week repeated fifty-two times will outrun any sprint.
